Dr Imamu ‘Mu’ Tomlinson, a former collegiate basketball player, now an emergency physician and chief executive officer of Vituity – one of the largest physician-owned medical partnerships in the United States– is part of the speaker lineup for the second annual Pocket Rocket Foundation (PRF) Student-Athlete Summit on Friday, May 29.
With Jamaican-Canadian roots and a career shaped by sport, medicine and leadership, Tomlinson also serves as president and CEO of the company’s philanthropic arm, Vituity Cares Foundation, which is dedicated to youth development and community investment. The foundation serves as a major partner of this year’s summit.
Themed ‘Ready. Set. Accelerate!’, the event will bring together more than 150 student-athletes from approximately 30 high schools across the island for a day of learning, reflection and meaningful conversations aimed at helping young people broaden their perspectives and prepare for life beyond the classroom and competition.
