NIB executive director retires early

NIALA Persad-Poliah has confirmed her early retirement as executive director of the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (NIB), bringing to an end more than two decades of service to the organisation.
Persad-Poliah’s retirement will take effect on December 13. She has served as executive director since December 2014.
In a letter to NIB chairman Judy Kalloo yesterday, Persad-Poliah said the decision followed “careful reflection” and described her years at the NIB as a privilege.
