THE stewards announced the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Units 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St Catherine, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Jockey Emelio McLean, who rode Johncrowjeff in the 10th race on Saturday, July 11, 2026, was fined $3,000 for excessive use of the whip during the running of the race.
Jockey Emelio McLean, who rode Miss Jungle Jen in the sixth race on Saturday, July 11, 2026, was cautioned regarding the incident which led to the slipping of his right-stirrup strap iron.
