Social activist Alyssa Phillip and her mother, Camille Caresquero, have been each charged with three offences by the TTPS, following their arrest at the Labour Day march in Fyzabad.
Phillip was charged with the offences of being a leader of a march and failing to call on such march to disperse, disorderly behaviour and resisting arrest.
Caresquero was charged with the offences of: being present at a march and failing to disperse, obstructing a police officer, and resisting arrest.
