The CARICOM Secretariat has launched the CARICOM Regional High School Youth in Agriculture Video Competition, inviting secondary schools across the Community to showcase student-led agricultural initiatives through short, creative videos.
High schools are invited to submit a one-minute video showcasing school-based agricultural production and highlighting student involvement. The competition allows students to creatively showcase, in a one-minute video, the vital role agriculture plays in their community, country, and the region.
The deadline for submissions is September 4, 2026. The competition is being coordinated by the Secretariat in collaboration with the CARICOM Youth Advisory Body (YAB), the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations (UN), the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA).
