POLICE must advertise meetings more effectively before they conclude that Port of Spain residents lack interest in showing up.
So say several residents of Charford Court and limers at the BP Renegades panyard on Charlotte Street, where a Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) public meeting with residents was scheduled to be held on June 25.
According to the TTPS, despite visiting nearby communities such as Charford Court, distributing flyers, and speaking directly with residents about the planned meeting beforehand, not a single person turned up to voice concerns about crime and police activities in the community.
