Minister Symmonds: Medical Products Bill will create opportunities for young people

Minister of Energy, Business Development and Consumer Affairs and Senior Minister Kerrie Symmonds says this new Bill is a transformational piece of legislation that will chart a course for job opportunities for the nation’s young people.

He says this will also help with the diversification of the island’s economy.

The Minister was speaking during the Barbados Medical Products Bill 2026 debate.
