Missing yam farmer found with his two loyal dogs

A 75-year-old Fyzabad man who went missing earlier this week, when he left home to harvest yams in a forested area, has been found with his two dogs at his side.

It was the second time this year Dooran Moonilal, also known as “Toolsie”, of Pepper Village, went missing while harvesting yams in the forested area.

Moonilal spent three days and two nights lost in the forest before he was found around 10 a.m. on Friday by members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, about four kilometres from his home.
