The Trinidad and To­ba­go De­fence Force has ex­pressed heart­felt grat­i­tude to Air Vice Mar­shal Dar­ryl Daniel for more than 37 years of dis­tin­guished ser­vice as Chief of De­fence Staff.

The TTDF praised his lead­er­ship, ded­i­ca­tion, and in­valu­able con­tri­bu­tion to the na­tion’s se­cu­ri­ty frame­work, not­ing his pro­fes­sion­al­ism, loy­al­ty, and stead­fast com­mit­ment to the peo­ple of Trinidad and To­ba­go.

Air Vice Mar­shal Daniel’s ap­point­ment was re­voked yes­ter­day by the Gov­ern­ment, mak­ing way for Cap­tain (Naval) Don Po­lo, who has been ap­point­ed as the new Chief of De­fence Staff. Cap­tain Po­lo brings over 32 years of ser­vice and a wealth of op­er­a­tional ex­pe­ri­ence to the role.
