The San Fernando Central Secondary School Library will now be powered by renewable energy after Form Five students successfully implemented a plan to reduce energy consumption.
The school emerged as the winner of Republic Bank Limited and RE-NEW TnT’s Net Zero Heroes Project.
As part of their prize, the school was awarded a seven-kilowatt solar photovoltaic (PV) system, which will now supply electricity to the library.
