Farewell to the woman behind the President

BARBARA KANGALOO, the mother of President Christine Kangaloo, has died at the age of 98. She passed away in the early hours of Wednesday after being ill for several weeks.

The Express understands she died around 3 a.m. at WestShore Medical Private Hospital, Cocorite.

Her illness had become known to many at the Southern Medical Clinic in San Fernando, where President Kangaloo and members of her security detail were seen on several occasions in recent weeks.
