An employee of Rituals Coffee House on Carrington’s Street, Scarborough, secured the store around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, only to return the following morning to find the premises ransacked. A vault containing $8,254 was reported missing.
On Thursday morning, Jason Belgrave of Spring Garden Trace, Plymouth, discovered that his home had been broken into.
Belgrave had secured his dwelling around 7:30 a.m. and returned at 3 p.m. to find a northern door left open and several items missing. Stolen property includes a PlayStation 5 a PlayStation chip and three controllers worth $10,100.
