Quick police intervention led to the arrest of two suspects shortly after they allegedly robbed an elderly man in broad daylight in Port of Spain on Tuesday.
Around 12:30 p.m. an 80-year-old was seated in his parked vehicle on Longden Street when he was approached by two young men.
One suspect, described as chubby, announced a hold-up and began poking the elderly man in the ribs with a bottle, demanding his wallet and valuables. The second suspect stood nearby.
