Thieves stole eight hybrid batteries from unregistered vehicles at a private car dealership in Couva between May 26 and Friday.
The 42-year-old owner of Casa Enterprises Limited, located on Southern Main Road, Mc Bean, Couva, secured the vehicles at the premises around 9 am on May 26, 2025, and locked the gate before leaving.
When she returned to the business around 1 pm on Saturday (June 7, 2025), she found the gate’s chain and lock broken.
