Police officers who executed a search warrant at a house in Arouca on Monday, met seven bad dogs. They killed one.
The officers were targeting the home of a 21-year-old on suspicion of harboring illegal firearms. The operation involved officers from the Special Operations Unit (SOU) and the Northern Division Task Force (NDTF) East.
Upon arrival, officers entered an unfenced compound comprising multiple residences. As they advanced, they were confronted by approximately seven aggressive dogs, including three pit bulls, exhibiting hostile behavior, accordint to a report.
