A Laventille man became the 51st murder victim for the year after he was shot and left for dead in some bushes on Friday morning.
The deceased was later identified as Arsham Harris of Dan Kelly, Picton Road, Laventille.
Emergency Health Services were notified around 3.50 am on Saturday, that a man was seen lying in some bushes.
