In a bizarre twist to a violent home invasion in Guaico, one of the criminals returned the following night to free the 73-year-old victim and hand back some of the stolen items.
Police said that around 10 p.m. on Saturday the woman was in the kitchen of her home at Guaico Tamana, when she saw four masked men outside her window.
The suspects threatened to kill her if she called the police. They climbed into an upstairs bedroom, confronted the woman, tied her hands with black tie straps and ransacked the house.
