“My friends were afraid I was going to die. This ole man is going for a walk in a month’s time around the Queen’s Park Savannah.”
So said celebrated masman Peter Minshall as he gave an update on his medical condition and hospitalisation during the Christmas season. He is currently resting and recuperating at his St Clair home.
In a telephone interview yesterday, Minshall, 84, said: “I just have a bandage on my foot and in a month’s time I will go for a brisk walk around the Savannah. I had something that needed attention and I had a very good doctor. He set me in the right place. I am now happily in recovery.”
