Months of uncertainty, court proceedings and campaigning ended with Team Prime retaining leadership of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Social Welfare Association (TTPSSWA) after Monday’s elections.
Team Prime, originally led by ASP Gideon Dickson, has led the association for two terms after winning the 2019 elections and defeating then Insp Sean Clarke of the Police Empowerment Party.
In May, acting ASP Ishmael Pitt succeeded Dickson as the head of Team Prime, leading the party for the first time through its internal election.
