An unusual treat was served to visitors of the Store Bay Beach Facility in Tobago on Sunday, as pupils of ASJA Boys’ College, San Fernando, hosted a lionfish outreach programme.
Bite-sized samples of cooked lionfish was offered to beachgoers, along with educational pamphlets and even a live demonstration showcasing the invasive species up close.
The event was held by the school’s Scuba Diving and Reef Conservation Club.
