Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles has begun fulfilling a pledge made during the People’s National Movement’s (PNM) convention in June to host regular public days aimed at reconnecting with citizens.
On Monday, Beckles held her first public meeting at the PNM’s headquarters, Balisier House, where she met with 17 people, Guardian Media understands.
It followed her inaugural public day last week at the Office of the Opposition Leader on Charles Street, Port-of-Spain.
