AN international floral exporter is to be paid close to US$53,000 after it brought legal action against a local florist following the supply of fresh flowers.
Bloom Flower 2 Trade SAS, based in Bogota, Colombia, filed the matter against Ziyad and Zalina Mohammed, trading as Zalina’s Floral Elegance, for US$39,859.86 plus interest and costs for breach of contract for unpaid invoices from February to October 2017.
Court documents, filed by attorney Abdel Mohammed, stated that his client, Bloom Flower, was involved in a contractual purchase agreement for the sale of and supply of fresh flowers from Colombia to the locally southern-based flower shop, Zalina’s Floral Elegance.
