ON the two previous occasions Barry Padarath filed his nomination papers, they were smooth and uncomplicated. This time around, however, Padarath said it was torture.
The United National Congress (UNC) candidate for Couva South told the Express yesterday that what was supposed to be a 15-minute process turned into two and a half hours.
That is because, Padarath said he was caught in the rain and had to walk almost two miles to get to the office of the returning officer located at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
