The weapons are said to be an MP5 (a submachine gun) and a pistol. Both weapons went missing during a police operation at sea on Carnival Tuesday afternoon.
One witness who wished to remained anonymous told the Express, 'Police came down here, two police vehicles actually, and two of them came out fully armed and were trying to get a boat to go out into the sea, and like they did not get through to do that as no fishermen were available to go out at the time, so they asked to get on a jet ski.'
