AN American citizen was robbed by 'Good Samaritans' after a road traffic accident.
The 36-year-old victim told police that at about 1 a.m. on Friday, he was in his white Toyota Hilux driving along the Queen's Park Savannah, when, upon reaching the bend near the US Embassy, he lost control of the vehicle. The truck collided with a barrier on the right side of the Savannah.
The victim exited the car, and was calling for roadside assistance when a Ford Truck pulled up next to him. Two men exited the vehicle and said they would help the victim. Roadside assistance told the driver that the earliest they could be at the scene was 6 a.m.
