A 73-year-old pen­sion­er was killed in Ari­ma on Thurs­day night af­ter be­ing stabbed out­side his home.

Stephen Lewis, al­so known as “Patch­es” or “Pow­er,” was found ly­ing in the Ocean­ic Su­per­mar­ket park­ing lot around 10:30 p.m., bear­ing a deep in­ci­sion to his neck. Po­lice said he ran rough­ly 150 me­tres from his home af­ter an al­ter­ca­tion in­volv­ing an uniden­ti­fied man and woman, be­fore col­laps­ing.

A cut­lass with blood stains and swabs were re­cov­ered at the scene. Lewis was pro­nounced dead by the Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer, and his body was tak­en to Ster­ling and Ter­ry’s Fu­ner­al Home. Po­lice en­quiries are on­go­ing.
