THE DIRECTOR of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard has ordered an inquest be held into the death of a woman who sustained burn injuries and later died at the Port of Spain General Hospital on July 1.

A man who had been detained following the incident that left her injured was also ordered to be released, pending the findings of the inquest.

The deceased, Mona Lisa Outram, 47 who was from Wallerfield was admitted to hospital on June 23 for severe burn injuries but on July 1 she died.
