The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has refuted claims made in a YouTube video circulating on social media titled “Trinidad Major Airport Changes – 20 Things You Cannot Do Anymore in January 2026.”
The Authority said the video contains inaccurate and misleading information and does not reflect any current or planned operational changes at the nation’s airports.
In a statement, the Airports Authority said it takes the dissemination of misinformation seriously, as it can cause confusion and inconvenience for travellers. The Authority has formally reported the video to YouTube and initiated action to have it removed from circulation on social media platforms.
