A 40-year-old man who claimed to have cocaine at home to give workers as payment for tending to his animals is expected to appear before a Siparia magistrate on April 3.

Police arrested the fisherman from Erin on the morning of April 2 after finding and seizing 17.3 grammes of cocaine.

South Western Division police searched his home in a state of emergency exercise that took place between 4 am and 8 am.
