A Firearm User's License (FUL) holder was able to fend off an attack from two men who attempted to rob him in Woodbrook last week.
Around 6 a.m. on July 29, a 35-year-old Belmont man was walking along Carlos Street, Woodbrook, towards his parked car when the incident occurred.
On his way to his vehicle, he was attacked from behind by two men. The suspects demanded the victim’s Cuban link gold chain valued at $30,000. One of the suspects was described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, slim built, and wearing a white long-sleeve shirt. The other was approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, slim built, and wore a black jersey.
