People's National Movement (PNM) general secretary Foster Cummings has announced that the party will be pausing aspects of campaigning for the April 28 general election ahead of the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination.
"Cognizant of the fact that the nation’s Standard Five children will undertake the SEA examination on Thursday 10th April 2025, the People’s National Movement has taken the decision to pause all campaign activities that may cause disruption to students who are preparing for the exam," he said in a media release Tuesday.
"This pause will be effected from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday 10th April 2025, throughout the 41 PNM campaigns across the country, and particularly during the hours of the exam," Cummings explained.
