Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposed male body along Peterson Trace, Little Coora Road, Cumuto.

The body, which has not yet been identified, was found around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, half a mile into a forested area. First responders reported that the male, of African descent, was wearing a purple jersey, blue jeans, and brown crocs. His hands were tied behind his back, and he was lying on his back.

Crime scene personnel processed the area but reportedly recovered no items of evidential value.
