TOYS intended for a seven-year-old boy tomorrow (Christmas Day) was stolen by bandits on Sunday in Laventille.
Police said that the boy’s father arrived at the Besson Street Police Station on Monday and lamented that he left his home at Second Hamlet Trace, St Barbs, Laventille on Sunday morning but when he got in on Sunday night he found his front door pried open.
When he checked inside he found a set of Hot Wheels brand toy cars valued $300 gone. Further checks revealed that a train set valued $400 was also gone.
