WORKS Minister Rohan Sinanan has accused the Opposition of using Hindu text as an election “dog whistle” after being referred to as a “Rawan”, an insult to dark-skinned people.

Sinanan at the weekend fired back at United National Congress’ (UNC) Khadijah Ameen and that party’s candidate for Toco/Sangre Grande, Wayne Sturge, after they labelled him a “Rawan”.
