Three men were killed and two others escaped following separate police-involved shootings in Tacarigua and Valencia yesterday evening.
Police said at about 4.15 p.m., officers of the Northern Division intercepted a silver-grey Nissan Sylphy in Valencia.
They said the occupants opened fire on the officers, who returned fire, killing two men.
