Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she feels energised despite the public’s concern regarding her health.
Speaking on a People’s National Movement (PNM) platform in Tunapuna on Saturday night, former United National Congress (UNC) member Larry Lalla, SC, accused Persad-Bissessar of fumbling her speech and needing help to walk, and questioned whether she had health concerns.
Lalla, who resigned from the UNC in February, questioned Persad-Bissessar’s capacity to lead a government in her current condition. He noted that an election campaign and running a government was a rigourous activity.
