Police have confirmed the identity of a decomposed body discovered in a forested area near Rancho Quemado on Thursday evening as Terell Leon Cedeno, 31, who had been reported missing last month.
The body was located around 5:40 p.m. by Shamsudeen Ayube of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team while searching near the Rancho Quemado Government Primary School. Officers, led by Inspector Prescott, W/Insp Paul, and Sgt Breedy, were guided to the scene shortly after 7p.m.
Cedeno’s body, found lying on his side, was identified at the scene by his twin brother, Tyrell Cedeno, and sister, Tiffany Cedeno, using several distinctive markers. Police said the family recognised a tattoo on his left forearm reading “one love,” the white beaded hand band on his right wrist, and his black shorts with a red stripe.
