A 58-year-old sanitation worker was injured during an armed robbery at a bar in Crown Point on Sunday night.

Around 11p.m. the man was visiting her daughter, a bartender, at the Retro Palace Bar (formerly Green Light Bar) on Milford Road, Canaan, when two masked men entered the premises.

One of the men was armed with a firearm and demanded money from the two lone occupants. The woman attempted to overpower the armed suspect, resulting in a scuffle during which she was struck on the head with the firearm, sustaining a wound that caused bleeding.
