Chair­man of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen­er­al Dan Caine is meet­ing with Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar at the Diplo­mat­ic Cen­tre.

Gen­er­al Caine ar­rived at the cen­tre just be­fore 11.30 am, as he was flanked by var­i­ous units of the TTPS in­clud­ing the Spe­cial Branch and the Na­tion­al Op­er­a­tions Task Force as es­corts.

Caine was ex­pect­ed to dis­cuss mat­ters re­lat­ing to na­tion­al se­cu­ri­ty with Per­sad-Bisses­sar, how­ev­er the de­tails of the meet­ing re­main un­known.
