Ac­tive du­ty sol­diers have been or­dered to re­port to du­ty and as­sem­ble at dif­fer­ent mil­i­tary in­stal­la­tions as part of a large-scale brief­ing on on­go­ing se­cu­ri­ty as­sess­ments, sources said.

Sev­er­al con­tacts close to the De­fence Force have con­firmed that an or­der was is­sued just af­ter 11 a.m. to all se­nior of­fi­cers as part of a "height­ened state of pre­pared­ness and on­go­ing re­gion­al se­cu­ri­ty pre­pared­ness."
