US President Donald Trump says Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s days are ‘numbered‘ but denied a potential US war with that country.
Trump, who was interviewed by American media CBS’ 60 Minute interview programme last night, stated that he “doubted” the US would go to war with the South American country, despite a large military build-up in the Caribbean Sea, and at least 15 strikes carried out by US military in the region.
Lethal kinetic strikes carried out on what the US alleges are “drug carrying vessels” have thus far killed more than 60.
