With students preparing for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) on Thursday, the United National Congress (UNC) has pledged to reduce campaign noise in the coming days to ensure a quiet environment for study.
UNC Deputy Political Leader and Couva North candidate Jearlean John made the announcement during a walkabout in the communities of Chandernagore and Edinburgh Gardens Phases 1, 2, and 3 on Tuesday.
“Our candidates will be mindful of young students,” said John, emphasizing that the party’s campaign activities on Wednesday and Thursday would be scaled down to support students’ focus and concentration.
