With stu­dents prepar­ing for the Sec­ondary En­trance As­sess­ment (SEA) on Thurs­day, the Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress (UNC) has pledged to re­duce cam­paign noise in the com­ing days to en­sure a qui­et en­vi­ron­ment for study.

UNC Deputy Po­lit­i­cal Leader and Cou­va North can­di­date Jear­lean John made the an­nounce­ment dur­ing a walk­a­bout in the com­mu­ni­ties of Chan­der­nagore and Ed­in­burgh Gar­dens Phas­es 1, 2, and 3 on Tues­day.

“Our can­di­dates will be mind­ful of young stu­dents,” said John, em­pha­siz­ing that the par­ty’s cam­paign ac­tiv­i­ties on Wednes­day and Thurs­day would be scaled down to sup­port stu­dents’ fo­cus and con­cen­tra­tion.
