A Valencia man known to residents as “Shaggy” has admitted to breaking into a neighbour’s home and stealing several household items, police said.
The suspect, 49-year-old, was arrested after police investigations linked him to a house breaking at the home of a 36-year-old woman.
She told police she had secured her home around 11 p.m. on September 7 before leaving. When she returned at 8 a.m. on September 15, she found the front door forced open and a quantity of household items missing. These included a grinder, circular saw, bicycle and parts, brush cutter, three fans, four speaker boxes, two LPG gas tanks, and two fishing rods and reels.
