A 20-year-old man from Point Fortin appeared before the Master Court South on Thursday, charged with sexual penetration of a female minor.

Kendel Ackie of Beach Road, Point Fortin appeared before Master Franklin on two accounts of sexual penetration. The charges stem from an incident in which the victim was reported missing on February 11 and found at a house later that day.

Ackie was charged with two offences and granted bail in the sum of $200,000. The court ordered the accused to stop all communications with the victim and remain at least 100 feet away from her at all times.
