Bandits broke into Dunross Preparatory School in Westmoorings early Tuesday morning, ransacking offices and escaping with several items, including a safe, iPads, and a television.
Police said around 12:12 a.m., a G4S security officer monitoring the premises alerted the school facility coordinator after the alarm system was triggered. When the coordinator arrived minutes later, she saw four men dressed in black fleeing the compound.
On checking the property, she discovered that the door to the Administration office on the eastern side of the school had been forced open and the offices ransacked. Missing items included a safe, four iPads, a television, and other valuables yet to be confirmed.
