‘Sweeter-Man’ appears in court charged with murder

A Mt Hope man has appeared before a Master of the High Court charged with the murder of Donny Dick, which occurred on July 14th, 2024.
Jafari Fernandez, also known as ‘Sweeter-Man’, 20, was also charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition when he appeared before Master Rehanna Hosein on June 4th, 2025.
A sufficiency hearing has been set for November 24th, 2025.
