THE National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (NGC) is rejecting an online claim that it sponsored the Air Supply concert at the Queen’s Park Oval.
In a release yesterday, the State-owned gas company stated, “The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (NGC) has become aware of posts and images currently circulating across social media platforms, which suggest that the Company sponsored a concert held on Saturday, 2 May 2026 at the Queen’s Park Oval. NGC wishes to state unequivocally that it did not sponsor this event.”
Classic soft rock duo Air Supply held a concert as part of their 50th Anniversary Celebration Tour at the Oval on May 2 and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was among those in attendance.
