PNM can­di­date for Ca­roni Cen­tral, Adam Ho­sein, has apol­o­gised to Fa­ther Steve Ran­some and the Paris of St Philip and St James for shar­ing a video in which he par­took in a Good Fri­day pro­ces­sion.

Ac­cord­ing to a state­ment on the parish Face­book page, two weeks ago, a re­quest was made of Fa­ther Steve Ran­some by a sup­port­er of a po­lit­i­cal can­di­date, for the po­lit­i­cal can­di­date to at­tend the Good Fri­day pro­ces­sion.

Ran­some ex­pressed pref­er­ence for the pro­ces­sion to re­main rev­er­ent, with­out any po­lit­i­cal in­volve­ment, ac­cord­ing to the parish.
