Police are investigating a break-in at a pet supply business in Aranguez where thieves made off with birds and stock after smashing through a concrete wall.
According to reports, the owner of Nature’s Pet Zone discovered the crime on Sunday morning.
The owner told police she had secured the store around 5p.m. on Saturday and returned at 7:30 a.m. Sunday to open for business. Around 9a.m., while checking the stockroom, she noticed a hole in the wall. A quantity of bird feed, live birds, and other items were missing. The total value of the stolen property is yet to be determined.
