The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago has issued a statement regarding social media comments attributed to an employee.
The institution confirmed the comments were made on a personal platform in a private capacity. Officials stated the remarks do not represent the position, values, or views of the college. The administration noted that the matter is being addressed through established internal policies and procedures.
COSTAATT President and leadership emphasised that the college is a public institution. The statement affirmed a commitment to equal access to education and opportunity. The college does not condone racism, discrimination, or hate speech. According to the release, respect for diversity regarding race, religion, ethnicity, gender, and culture is part of the mission of the college.
